About

For over 50 years, Okanogan County Community Action Council (OCCAC) has been serving Okanogan County residents. As a cornerstone of the community, OCCAC started with just a few people dedicated to change. Today, OCCAC is now a movement dedicated to the idea that each person has something to give to the community and in turn, each of us will be enriched in the process. OCCAC offers over 45 different programs and services to meet their community’s unique needs. Please visit their website to learn more about this Community Action Agency’s rich history and for program eligibility.

OKANOGAN COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL MISSION: “Leading a revolt on poverty through education, empowerment, and engagement.”

OKANOGAN COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL VISION: “Our vision for the future does not include people living in poverty but rather – communities where people are housed, have their needs met, and they give back to their community.”
