About
Community Action Council of Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties (CACLMT) is one of our thirty Community Action Agencies (CAA) in the WSCAP network. CACLMT works to strengthen individuals and families to lessen the impacts of poverty. Serving three counties in Washington, CACLMT offers several programs to address the hunger, housing, and health needs of the community, just to name a few. Services
- Disability + Senior Services
- This service area includes programs such as adult day centers, food home delivery, housing services, and utility discounts.
- Employment Assistance
- This service area includes programs such as career planning, social enterprises, job assistance, vocational skills and training and WorkFirst community jobs.
- Emergency Services
- This service area includes programs such as food banks, emergency shelters, motel vouchers and rental/mortgage assistance.
- Energy Assistance & Weatherization
- This service area includes programs such as emergency shut off prevention, energy assistance, heating system repairs, minor home repair and weatherization.
- Food & Nutritional Programs
- This service area includes programs such as food banks, meal sites, and SNAP (food stamps).
- Housing Assistance
- This service area includes programs such as affordable housing, permanent supportive housing, rental assistance, and homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing.
