About

Since 1966, Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners or SNAP, has served as a leading voice in fighting poverty by educating and empowering the low-income individuals and families in the area. SNAP’s Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers diligently search for long-term solutions to eliminate poverty. Since their inception, SNAP has helped people transition from crisis to stability by caring for immediate needs while laying the foundation for one’s future success. SNAP has grown a lot in the 50+ years they have been serving the community; nevertheless, their goal always has been to help build a vibrant community that treats everyone with dignity and respect by advocating for that which is fair, honorable, and equitable. Programs and services offered by SNAP range from: home energy assistance, rental assistance, and homeless services to budgeting and credit building workshops and homebuyer education. Please visit SNAP’s website to learn more about the plethora of services offered to meet the needs of their unique community.
